We recently had a couple of Black Walnut trees that were dying and leaning near one of the barns. To protect the old barn they needed to come down. We fell the trees to miss the barn and decided that instead of wasting the beautiful wood on firewood we would have a local mill make lumber out of it.
We delivered it today and below you can see the photos of them unloading them like they were toothpicks! We look forward to seeing how it turns out and it should be a fun project for an addition to our home harvested from the farm.
Lorin and I have been around agriculture our whole lives. We're happy to be part of the family farm.
